please help me vs. make a point vs. to my sister

my sister is expection twins which I see alot of people are on here anyway she wants to name after us she and I being twins ourselves I don’t think this is a good idea I think our names are very out of date and just not very good and we share the same middle name our names are Misty Dawn and Chrystal Dawn my mother thought this was very cute when she did I don’t think it is and I don’t want my sister doing it to her babies please leave comments maybe if she ses that’s not just me she will change her mind thanks Chris

To be quite honest with you, you can suggest all the names you want, but when all is said and done, these are your sister’s babies, and she has final say in what to name them. Just make sure you love those babies no matter what their names are and everything will be just fine! Good luck!

I can’t quite figure out what you’re saying. That she wants to name *her* twins Misty Dawn and Chrystal Dawn? So there are two sets with the same named? I don’t think this is a good idea at all -- it wasn’t even a good idea the first time and now it’s downright crazy. It’s not like you can do anything about it, though.
Maybe you could suggest that one of them have the middle initial M and one the middle initial C, just to hint at Misty and Chrystal without going whole hog.

Yeah. Bad idea. I hate the sharing of initials and I certainly hate the sharing of names.

Yeah it’s a bad idea. If she really wants to name her babies after you and herself, maybe she could use different forms of your names or similar names. For example:
Christine & Michelle
Krista & Melissa

Maybe it is something hormonal and twins make expecting mother’s doubly crazy. Personally, I find these attempts to emphasize the children’s status as twins to be off-putting. It will be pretty obvious the kids are twins and having cute puns for names makes them even more of a side-show attraction. Tell your sister to find some other outlet for her creative writing and need to feed her own ego. (I won’t tell you what my mother name me and my twin brother - or the embarrassment it caused)

Well me and my trip sises Carm and Carg (carmenne and Carriagan) We used to all have the same beginning CAR then the rest and then our middle name was the same. When i was 15 i changed my name legally. It used to be Carissianna. I changed it to Chrissie. I shouldve changed my middle name but it was grandmother Annelle Rorie. And annelle isnt Ann-elle like Anna its A-null. and u know everyone says anal these days. My sisters middle name was Annelle Rynn and changed it to Jerynn and Carg used to be Annelle Laressa and now its Laresie. So i think that no matter what the kids could hate it or change it
