Tough decision as they are both pretty, I feel for you as I can’t decide between two names that keep getting an equal vote. At least your child will have a pretty name which ever you choose. I think I may like Delilah very slightly more so will vote for that now but you really can’t go wrong.

Dahlia is pretty. I do not like Delilah.

Second poster said what I thought. Delilah just has too many negative connotations from the Bible for me to even think of using it.

Pole maker - I wouldn’t listen to the bible thing, it’s not like you are naming your daughter after Delilah in the bible. It is a flower I believe and very pretty.

It doesn’t matter if she’s naming her after her or not, the name still has the connotation, and it’s not going away.

Not everyone is religious and knows about Delilah’s negative connotations from the Bible. Stop being so ignorant.

Then people are ignorant, it is a name ’A rose by any other name would smell as sweet’. It would be ridiculous to start avoiding names for that reason.
