sister for vs. Zia

We have a beautiful daughter named Zenobia Fiammetta Isolde (called Zia). We are now expecting our second daughter, and we are having some trouble finding a name that we love as much as Zia’s. We have a list of names that we like a lot, but we aren’t completely sold on any of them. What do you think? Thank you!

Love Saoirse. Xanthe, Merida and Caoimhe are also lovely.

But I don’t feel like any really go with Zenobia.

So if I may suggest a few:

So something like Ambrosia Caoimhe Xanthe nn Rosie would be adorable

From your list
Love: Pax, Merida
Like: Briallen, Juno, Saoirse
Dislike: Ffion, Ianthe, Xanthe, Gwenllian

Also, how do you pronounce Caoimhe? I think it looks pretty but not sure how to say it correctly.

I like how you have chosen unique names!
I’ll suggest Ziva (may be too close to Zia), Keeva/Kiva, Illiana (Ill-e-an-ah), Cambria, Bronwynn, Idalyse (E-dah-leese), Saosin, and Monroe. Good Luck:)

I really like your names, but I agree that nothing really goes with Zia.

Calliope Merida Pax would get my vote :) Zia and Callie make an adorable set for sisters.

Saosin is the name of a band, just so you know PP.

What do you think of Artemis?

Artemis Caoimhe Briallen would be awesome! You could call her Ari or Missy. Either one would be cute with Zia.

The first name I thought of when I saw your daughter’s name is Philomena Aoife Cerys. So I’m suggesting that.

Thank you for the feedback!

Keeva/Kiva is the English form of Caoimhe, and the two are pronounced the same way. However, Caoimhe can also be pronounced "kwee-vah". We are debating between the two pronunciation right now, but leaning towards "kee-vah".

I really like Ambrosia, Artemis/Artemisia, Calliope, and Philomena Aoife Cerys. Thank you for the suggestions!

I know Saosin is the name of a band, that is why I knew of it to post it. Doesn’t mean it still isn’t pretty, you don’t have to like the band to like the name! But thanks for that random observation.

Elysia is pretty and would go well with Zia.

Another thought would be Hazel nn Zella (which is my daughter’s name). Zia and Zella would go well together.

Thisbe is another idea that seems like it would work nicely with Zia.
