Connor vs. Hudson

I posted a poll yesterday.... I’m adopting a newborn who has already been given the name Connor. He’s only a few weeks old, so I think it would be okay to change it. We like Hudson and Smith....leaning towards Hudson right now. Should we keep Connor as his name or change it? Thanks! ~M

Hi! My sister adopted a little girl 2 years ago, and she kept her "orginal" name Alexis as a Middle name. She is Isabelle Alexis now.
I think your son cuold be Hudson Connor. What do you think? Good luck! Nancy

It’s really your preference on if you want to change it. If you don’t like the name, then don’t go with it. It’s just a name and he’s your son now. I really love the name Hudson.
You could always either keep Connor as a middle name or a variant.

What’s your last name?

I think changing his name makes him feel even more a part of you....but using his original name as a middle name is Fantastic....he is your son so name him as you want to

I think it would be fine to change it although it would be nice to keep his birth name as his middle name. Hudson and Smith are both fantastic names. Hudson Connor sounds great.

I LOVE HUDSON!!! I would change it... it is more original, and then you feel apart of the naming process. Defiantly Hudson
