My husband and I are leaning towards the name Christopher It seeks like there are so many Chris names out there We don’t particularly like Chris but we like Christopher Are there other nicknames and is it an over used name

I love the name Christopher. It is my brother’s name. Nicknames are Chris, Topher, Christo. My brother has a J middle name so we always call him CJ

Kit gets my vote too. Christo would be my second choice.

I like the name Christopher but yes, it’s very, very common and has been for a long time. I think it’s inevitable that he will get called Chris unless you choose another nickname for him to go by that he introduces himself as. I don’t particularly like Kit but I do like Topher. Christo is weird, don’t care for that.

Christopher is relatively common, but people will call him by whatever nickname you use when you introduce him. Kit is my favorite nickname for Christopher.

You could try Kit or Christoph, however I think the chances of getting Chris are pretty high

Topher sounds like Tofu
