Everly Rowan vs. Everleigh Rowan vs. Rowan Everly/Everleigh
My husband and I have decided on a name for our daughter, but we can’t agree on spellings. He likes Everleigh, but I much prefer Everly. I think it looks a lot cleaner and neater than Everleigh, and not nearly as trendy. Also, do you prefer Everly/Everleigh Rowan, or Rowan Everly/Everleigh? Thanks! ~Kirsten

I really dislike the name Everly, but if you use it DEFINITELY not Everleigh. That is trendy and tacky beyond the limit. I can’t imagine an employer ever taking an application with that name on it seriously.
Rowan is too masculine to me, but given the choice, I’d probably choose it over Everly. Any thoughts about Rowena? or Ramona? Both feminine and pretty.

Rowan! Such a beautiful name, and I only know girls with the name, so Rowan is all girl to me. Everly is cute, spelled this way. Everleigh looks made up.

Rowan is not a girl name and Everly is really bad. It doesn’t flow with your last name and it will not age well and be able to grow with your daughter. No matter the spelling, it’s way too trendy

I think Rowan Everly is beautiful, and Everly is not tacky or trendy and Rowan is not masculine at all, GL :-) ~Maya

You really should not use Rowan and Everly together, Rowan is a boys name and Everly is unisex it will lead to gender confusions.

Love the name Everly!! But I’d stick with the "ly" spelling - it’s just more classic and classy. But I have a peeve about changing spelling. I’d use Everly as the first name because I like the nn options (Ev, Eve, Ever, Evie, Ely, Elle, etc.). Nice choice of names!
