First vs. Name vs. Ideas!

Hello! We are looking for first names that are old fashioned/vintage/classic that are a little on the longer side but have cute, short nicknames (we don’t like unisex nicknames for girls though). What comes to your mind when you hear that? Our last name is Grey if that helps. Thank you!

We like Penelope (love Poppy!), Imogen, Josephine (we don’t like Jo at all as we do not like unisex), Matilda (love Millie!), Alice (we hate Allie though), and Edmund!

We don’t like Meredith (and can’t think of any cute nicknames for it) or Timothy

We like Lucille and Rosie (but not Rosemarie)!

These are our current favorites if this helps:

Penelope "Poppy"
Matilda "Millie"
Imogen "Immie/Immy"
Charlotte "Lottie"
Lucille "Lucy"

Theodore "Theo or Teddy"
Edmund "Eddie"

We are looking for full names for Rosie (not Rosemarie or Rosalie), Evie (not Evangeline), and Hattie (not Harriett)

We don’t like Edward and still find using Teddy as a nickname for Edmund/Edward/Edwin a little weird so we will stick to using just Eddie as a nickname for it and Teddy/Theo for Theodore.

We really like Genevieve, Rosalind, and Rosamund!
