What could vs. Libby be

We absolutely love the name Libby, As much as we love it we think it should be a shorter variation of longer name. The only name we have come across is Elizabeth and we really don’t like it. Any suggestions?

I’ve heard it for Liberty but I think Liberty is a really tacky name.

Libby is a great name on its own!

Lilibet would also work.

I’ve only heard it as a nickname for Elizabeth but maybe a variation of that would work.
Elspeth?
Lilibeth?

I did know a girl named Libra and, though she never went by Libby, it would definitely lend itself to that nickname. Probably not to everyone’s taste though.

There’s Liberty, which I do like. I’ve also heard Olivia, Lydia, Katherine, Libya, Isabel, and Libertad. Libby is also fine on its own.
