Hawaiian vs. Name

We are adopting a baby (gender unknown) from a young mom. She is Hawaiian but now lives in the states. It will be a closed adoption, but she did ask if we could give the baby a Hawaiian name (first or middle) and we are happy to do so. But I am stumped. I need ideas for boy and girl names. Thanks!

I personally love the sound and meaning of these Hawaiian names:
Lana- calm as still waters
Leia- child of heaven
Malana- soothing/calming
Kaila- bright
Alana- awakening
Kalea- bright
Luana- content/happy
Malie- calm
Maka- favourite one
Kalani- of the heavens
Kei- dignified
Meli- honey
Koa- brave
Miliani- gentle caress

Maybe something symbolic like Isla as a tribute to the Island State. Isla Rose is very nice.
