Kayla vs. Keep vs. Trash

Okay so i’ve been swearing since i was young that i would name my first girl Kayla, after my sister who passed away at birth. But now when it matters and i really look at the name, i’m not quite sure how i feel about it. Do you like the name yes or no?

I kind of like the idea of Kayliegh. I’m not sure though.

I also considered using her middle name for the sentimental value. The middle name is Marie. OPINIONS???

I actually ADORE Kayla! It’s extremely underused. And I def. think it’s the best and sweetest way to honor your sister. Kayla is simple, sweet, and very uptodate! Kayleigh is extremely trendyand overused and sounds kind of stripper-ish. Sorry! One of my friends in high school was named Kaila! I like that spelling as well. It’s precious so I def. say go for it!!!! gl =)

Yeah, Makayla would be a good suggestion because it kind of combines Marie and Kayla. But here are some pretty suggestions if you want to use Marie as the mn: (all K’s so that it’s similar to Kayla...)

Kadence Marie

Kymberlin/Kimberlyn Marie

I do like the idea of Kailyn and Kayden because they keep with the Kay theme. I also like Kathryn, I love the spelling. Another name i love is Kellie, and another middle name i Love is lynn. ????? I’m so confused.

Kayla is my friend’s name and it’s beautiful. And you have a sentimental and personal reason for naming your daughter that. Keep it, you will be glad you did. Marie is a bit overused. My friend’s middle name is Blair. What do you think?

I agree with the guest’s thoughts on Kaylie... It takes the KAY from Kayla and the IE from Marie. Good thoughts!

Blair as a middle name is pretty, but combining it with the last name doesn’t sound appealing to me. (the last name is cros) I like Kayla as a middle name but what would be a good middle name to use with Kayla.
