In a novel I’d imagine a simple girl living out in the country, long (dirty) blonde hair, tall, fit, quiet, polite.

I’m sorry but I find it boring. Maybe use it as a nickname for Isabelle, Annabelle, Jessabelle, Jezabelle, Clarabelle, etc.

I imagine a very well spoken, well mannered brunette with a nice figure and conservative style. I don’t see it as a ’fun’ or ’giggly’ name if you get me but more of a serious one.

I’ve always thought Elle to be far too short and plain. I can see it as a nn for Eleanor.

Elle to me is one of those girls from the 1900s who came from a wealthy family and spent her days in fancy dresses, playing the piano, studying with her tutor, not speaking unless spoken to, etc. Not necessarily boring, but definitely not active or spunky or anything like that.

Elle is gorgeous! I’d probably use Estelle instead though, and nn her Elle!

I actually don’t like the name but as a nick name it would be okay. like Isabelle Annabelle Elizabeth I imagine a dark haired brown eyes very quiet and polite gets straights As.
