I like it and he could always go by the nickname Roe if he wanted.

Victoria Beckham’s son is named Romeo and no one seems to give him a hard time about it! I say go for it if you love it. I also think Romeo will stand out more if paired with a shorter, more common middle name. Good luck!

No one gives the Beckham’s boy a hard time because celebs tend to choose weird names for their kids all the time. Compared to names like Apple, Romeo isn’t bad. BUT it will be a very hard name for him to go through school with. Prepare him young for lots of teasing. And when he starts dating - talk about a lot to live up to - "would you die for me, Romeo?" Poor kid!

I really dislike it, sorry...I don’t associate it with the Shakespeare character, I associate it with the slang term for "Romeo"...a guy who sleeps around, has many lovers, etc.

I love it. It’s very handsome and I love the connection to Shakespeare. I’ve always wondered why do people use Juliet but are reluctant to use Romeo as a name. I think it’s great an dif you love it, you should go for it.
