I like Elliette, actually. It looks very feminine and girly (like Juliette). Ellie for short is cute :)
Not a fan of Finley for a girl.

There is no female version of Elliot, whatever source you got Elliette being French from was inaccurate.
These are both boys names and one is misspelled.

I really really don’t like either - it it were for a boy either would be fine - simply b/c you are spelling Elliot wrong does not make it a girl’s name.

Eeekk they are out today! I feel sorry you’ve gotten negative comment after negative comment. Just because this is an annonymous forum people feel they can be rude and it’s unfortunate.
I see you said these are your favorite names so I’ll do my best to be kind. Neither are my style so forgive me. Finley is cute but I don’t feel it will age well. I can’t imagine a mom named Finley. Elliette is pretty but I feel you may run into pronunciation issues. Elliot is used for a girl from time to time and I think that spelling is fine. Plus you still have the Ellie option for a nickname and people will know how to spell her name.
Good luck!

Adding -ette to a name does not make it French. It is not French and no reliable websites state it as such, most do not have it listed at all.

Out of these, Finley. If you were spelling Elliette Elliot/Elliott I’d say go with that, but I don’t like the spelling Elliette and I don’t consider it an authentic spelling (sorry!) Elliot/Elliott still has the feminine nickname Ellie/Elle. Good luck!

I like both names, I am fond of unisex names. I personally like Finley Elliott, why can’t you use both?
