Lyrica is ok but you could use Erica as your daughters middle name and she still would honor her godmother but would have her own name just the same.

I’m not really big on Lyrica. I don’t mind Lyric, and I love erica, but lyrica is just too much for me. you could always spell it with a ck or a k or use it as a mn? otherwise, i can only think of erela, enrica, aria. it means heather so you could use the name heather, or hadley which means heather field.

Honestly, Lyrica sounds like some sort of noew pharmaceutical... some medicine or pill...

I think that the name Lyrica is very original and she will be the only one. Though I like the Erica too.
Combine them (or from another suggestion Aria.) Can be a good match.

Lyrica is a medication. Erica is a beautiful name, and is definitely underused. You could call her Erica, and have her middle name some form of godmother’s name.

I don’t mind it per se, but I would NEVER use it myself.

Jessica, Erica IS the godmother’s name. From everyone’s suggestions I like Emmica, I’ve also thought about naming her Erica and using a nickname that she could go by if she wants. Erie is out of the question because a family friend’s baby is named Arianna and I call her Aerie.

Lyrica is a medication. It’s for nerve problems and used to treat everything from seizures to nerve pain and fibromyalgia. It has a pretty sound, but so do Celexa and Zetia. If little Lyrica grows up to work up in the medical field, she’ll have people snickering about her name.

I would use Erica as a middle name if you want to name her after her godmother. Erica Madeline is pretty, but if you are going to call her Maddie, I think it’s far too confusing. Madeline Erica sounds almost as good and if you’re going to call her Maddie, I think Madeline should be the first name. Madeline is beautiful, though very popular, especially when shortened to Maddie.

Everyone doesn’t like the name Lyrica, but I love it. When I’m ready to have kids, that’s going to be the first or middle name of my daughter.

PLEASE don't name your kid "Aricka," that is the stupidest spelling of Erica I've ever heard.

Lyrica is a medication that treats nerve and muscle pain, fibromyalgia, and seizures. I know that the baby in question has been named and is probably 10 years old now, but for any future posters: don't name your kid Lyrica. People will be wondering what kind of parents would name their kid after a seizure medicine.

I like the name Erica, but if you don't want it to be her first name, you could have it as her middle name.
