I like Shea more. It looks more complete to me and like more of a name. Shay just looks like it was sounded out.

Does anyone think that Shay could be used as a nickname for Shea? I really like both.

I actually voted in your last poll and think you should use Shay. My reasoning is that it’s more feminine (since Shea is unisex), is more of a surname (along the lines of Reese, or Peyton), and simply just looks like a complete name to me (Shea always looks like it’s missing some letters to me). It’s a cute name, and I had a tough time deciding between the two as well.

Thanks! I originally was going with Shay, but then I heard about Shea, so I was going back and forth between the two.

i like shay as a nickname for shayla or shayna or something. i wouldn’t really be able to understand the point of shay as a nickname for a name the same length and same pronunciation.

I prefer Shayne! I think it’s adorable. Shea and Shay seem too nickname-ish to me. They won’t age well. Shayne, Shaine, Shaene are all cute!
