Elimination vs. GIRL

My husband and I have really different naming styles and I really despise his girls choices, but don’t really mind his boys choices, although I can’t say I love them. So what we’ve decided is that I pick girls names, he picks boys names and we switch for middle names. This poll is for the names I picked for a girl. Please eliminate one or two names and then tell us which middle name you think goes best with your favourite. Thanks!

Eliminate Victoria. I would get rid of most of the middle names...Riley would be the best, if spelt normally. Hadley I guess isn’t too terrible. The rest are just weird!

My favourite names are Julia, Megan and Rachel.

Eliminate Rachel and Sabrina. I actually love your husband’s choices! Your names tend toward the trendy/popular and I’m afraid won’t have lasting power. In other words, they will sound extremely dated in about 10 years. They are not my style at all and I wouldn’t pair them with the other names if it were up to me. From your husband’s list my absolute favorite is Valerie. I would actually pair it with one of 3 from his list:
Valerie Lauren
Valerie Elizabeth
Valerie Katherine
If I had to choose from the other list, I guess I would go with Valerie Harper because it sounds familiar (because of the actress), but I am not fond of the name Harper.

Eliminate Cara and Julia. I like Hadley the best for a middle name. But I’m waiting to see what the name is before putting in my vote.

I think you had some very pretty names on your list originally (Megan, Bridget, Julia, Norah, Rachel) and the ones left are the standard names that even those people that dislike common names can agree on. I’d suggest making a new poll and taking into account more people’s opinions. Elizabeth and Evelyn are too common and plain, unlike your other names.

Sorry, but Evelyn is by far not the nicest name on your list. Rachel Hadley or Rachel Kinley would be nice.
