They work! vs. They’re okay vs. They don’t work

Here’s the thing I absolutely adore the name Helena for my baby girl but I already have a son from when I was younger named Shay who is almost 12, I’m really not sure if the names sound okay together or whether the styles are too different and I should look for a name more similar in style to Shay? Please help!

They are not exactly the same style, but i think you can get away with it because of the large age gap.

I think it’s okay, because of the age gap-- as a matter of fact, it’s nice to show how you’ve changed as a person over the past 12 years.

My eldest daughter was given a trendy name at the time, 7 years later I had another little girl and my taste had changed and I went for a old traditional name. I think if got away with it because of the age gap

Age gap or not children are not furniture, their names don’t need to match.
