Just found out I am expecting a girl and my wonderful nurse Susan recommended this site. These are names my husband and I are playing around with so far. Any and all help welcome and needed so thanks in advance! We want something feminine but not necessarily girly if that makes sense at all. Something with a kick that is strong. I’m with the first poster on this, in that I love Cordelia (for all the reasons she so eloquently stated), but am not a huge fan of Phoenix. I kind of like Bijou, however. Here’s a few middle name suggestions:

Cordelia is oh so strong. It’s feminine in the way that I would never think it was a boy, but it has a certain strength behind it, it isn’t delicate or twee. It’s beautiful though. You could call her Delia which is sweet :) I think the others are very difficult, as I haven’t heard of them before. They would be hard to spell. I’m not a huge "Phoenix" fan, but I may have a few names you would like as I’m not a huge fan of your other middle names.
