Girl vs. And vs. Boy

Hey! Baby #2 is on the way and we’re worried he or she will be born without a name! We want to use a name that has a nickname, like our son’s, but haven’t found any we really love. Any ideas? Our son’s name is William Brett Jr. (goes by Liam) if that helps. Oh, and we are only looking for first names please. Thanks!

We like Theodore, Evander, the nickname Emmy (but not Emily), Madeleine, and Penelope!

We like Lucas, Delilah, Charlotte, and the nickname Lucy but we aren’t so sure since the nicknames we like for them being with L, like Liam and we’re not too sure if we want to use another L name

We like Emmeline (we aren’t a huge fan of -lyn names), Amelia (although we wouldn’t use Lia because of the L), Genevieve, Charles, and Nathaniel! We still haven’t found a full name for Ellie or Ella that we really like. We aren’t fans of Eleanor/Elizabeth/Eloise/Elodie so we’re not sure what that leaves us with

We like Isabella but we feel like it will always get shortened to Bella rather than Ella or Ellie and we don’t like Bella. Elsa and Elsie seem too short for us to use a nickname, though they are nice names

We like Amelia but we don’t like Amee/Amy, for Amelia we will probably use Mia or Millie as a nickname

William and

Lewis (Lou or Louie)
Robert (Rob, Robby, Bobby)

Ameline (Lina)

Katherine (Kat, Kitty, Katie)
Lorelei (Lor, Lorie)

We like Charles, Theodore, and Rosalie! We don’t want L names, we’ve decided on that for a fact we do not want any L names.

If it helps to eliminate repeats these are our lists:

Theodore (Theo)
Charles (Charlie)
Nathaniel (Tate)
Evander (Evan)

Amelia (Mia/Millie)
Emmeline (Emmy)
Genevieve (Evie)
Madeleine (Maddie)
Penelope (Penny)

Would Ellie work as a nickname for Penelope? We still haven’t found one that we are in love with as a full name and we’re still looking for full names for Ella!

Sorry, had to step away from the computer for a moment (mommy and daddy duty called)! We like the nickname Millie (but Millicent isn’t nice sounding to us), and the nickname Eli (but don’t like Elijah)! We like the name Lucas but if you didn’t catch our last comment, we don’t want any L names
