Alexandra Elizabeth Anne vs. Wdyt?

Do you like the name Alexandra? Could she go by her full name, or will Alexandra be automatically shortened? Older sibs are Jane Victoria Alice and William "Will" Theodore John. Does Jane, Will, and Alexandra sound good? Thanks! -Caroline Pope

Really pretty! I do like Alexandra. I personally would not dream of shortening such a lovely, elegant name. I do not believe nicknames are ever inevitable. That has not been my experience.

I’m an Alexandra. I go by Alex, Allie, and Alexandra. I mostly introduce myself as Alexandra in formal settings and Alex among friends. People introduce me as Alex.

I do think it’ll be automatically shortened by peers but if you introduce her as Alexandra, that’s what people will call her.

I like all three names, though Anne seems redundant since Alexandra contains the same Anne sound in the middle.

I think Jane, Will, and Alexandra sound fine.
