Shyanne vs. opinions of vs. this spelling?
I love the name Cheyenne (with this spelling) but my husbands family is Native American and obviously they don’t like the idea of using it. However, my mother-in-law suggested the spelling Shyanne, so it wouldn’t be exactly like the tribe. What are your opinions of this spelling? We think it’s cute be we are still unsure about it. It sounds exactly the same as the tribe name so no. If you just heard it, you would think that it was Cheyenne spelling it different doesn’t change that.

Idk, I pronounce Cheyenne as (Shy-in) and Shyanne as (Shy-Anne). I think that spelling will be fine.
