Halley would be pronounced differently from the other 2. (Howl-ee or Hahll -ee), not Hay-ley.

Halley would be pronounced Hal-lee, IMO.
Hailey is the only acceptable spelling.
It’s a trendy and has been overused for the passed 10 years. I personally think Halle would be better. Hailey is childish.

As the pp said Hallie would be prn. Hal lee, like Halle Berry. I personally perfer that to Hay lee, but if Hay lee is what you are going for than the Hailey spelling is best. GL!
