Love It! vs. It’s Alright vs. Dislike It!
What do you think of the name Kaidry or Kaidree for my baby girl, due in February? It is pronounced Ky-Dree. It could also be spelt Kydrie, Kydree, Kaidri, Kydreigh, etc. I love the nickname Kai, so that is why the spelling will either be Kaidry or Kaidree. Please, honest opinions on the name and comment which spelling (Kaidry or Kaidree) you like best! If you really dislike the name, do you like Kailand (ky-lind, my second choice) better? Thankss ~Jacey

I dislike both names. What about Katie, Kaylee or Kayla?
It’s different, I don’t dislike it but not for sure if I really like it. Prefer to spell it Kaidree, looks more feminine this way. I don’t like Kailand at all, sorry.
I actually like the name Kai more than the other options, it’s cute.
Kyla, Kylee or Kyrie would mean she wouldn’t have to spell her name out for everyone.
Kai and Kailand are boys names. I think Kyrie is lovely though!
I think Kaia, Kyla, Kylie, or Kairi would be better as well. The sound of Kydree reminds me of the monster Hydra for some reason and I can’t picture it aging well on an adult. I also dislike Kailand as well. It sounds like a country, not a name.
I don’t like any of the names in your poll at all.
It sounds weird.
The spelling of a nickname doesn’t have to match the spelling of the formal name (Kate for Catherine, heck Peggy for Margaret). So I would spell it Kyrie if that’s the pronunciation you want. You can still nn her Kai. (But I think Kylie or Kyla would be better)
I don’t like the name Kyrie/Kairi. Our Kaia, Kylee, etc. they are way too common for me.
So everybody prefers the spelling Kaidree? Or just the one person that actually helped?
Kaidree sounds really awkward to be honest, as if you couldn’t decide between naming her Kylie or Audrey and just mashed them together...
