My name is Grace. I liked being unique when I was younger but now every other little girl is called it and I’m trying to avoid this happening with my own daughter.

My full name is Catherine Helen. I hate the name Helen, I think Catherine is ok but no-one ever spells it my way (ie Katherine, Kathryn, Catheryn, Catharine etc). Also my mum is Deborah and she doesn’t like it because people just assume they can call her Debbie which she hates. Xx

My name is Bo and I used to hate my name as a little girl. It did not help at all I was a tomboy. But I now love my name because it suits me and I get to use Beau as a middle name for my son :) First name suggestions would be wonderful if you have any btw.

My name is Ashton. My middle name is Nicole I like my name but don’t like it being unisex. I think it is unique so I do love my name just don’t like the fact that it is unisex. I have two girls and neither of their names are unisex.

My name is Sara but I have a lot of problems with the pronunciation. Everyone just assume it’s Sir-ruh when I have the Spanish pronunciation Sah-ra. I always infuriates me when people get it wrong.

My name is Maureen and I am 26 years old. I got a lot of teasing at school for having an old-fashioned name. I’m Irish and I moved to American when I was 15. It was a nightmare. I love it now though and don’t use any of the silly nicknames I used as a teen. I was named after my great-grandmother.

My sisters and me all have really masculine nicknames from very feminine full names. My name is Lavinia and I go by Vinnie. My sister Juliet goes by Jules and my sister Alexandria goes by Alex.

My name is Tiffany.
I like my name even though whenever I see it come up on this site people usually say something like "yuck, that screams 1980’s" I suppose it does but at least my parents were ahead of the trend.I was actually born in the early 1970’s and the name must have still been unique then because I got a lot of compliments on it when I was growing up.
In classrooms full of Jennifers (no offense to any Jens but we all know it was crazy popular during those years) I was very happy to be a Tiffany!
