Strong female vs. names

We sort of don’t know what we’re looking for lol. We like a lot of names but a lot of them we just can’t see ourselves using. I want something timeless and underused and just perfect for us. I’m leaning towards Margaret but I know my husband doesn’t love it and I want a name we can both love. Ideas? Thanks from Sam and Neil

I really don’t like Jocelyn, sorry. It just doesn’t work for me. But thank you

We like Eleanor. I like Helena but Neil doesn’t. I love Margaret and Neil doesn’t mind it, he likes the nickname Maggie but I want to explore our options. Thank you

I really like Susannah but Neil doesn’t. He actually lovess Anneliese and I like it too. We both liked Mia and Violet but crossed them off our list because of how popular they are now. Thank you

Glad you both like Anneliese I wasn’t sure how to spell it but I know people with the name and I like it! Good luck:)

Margaret seems great. I also like Margaret paired with a more modern name, for a bit of unexpecte contrast, as in Savannah Margaret or Margaret Delaney. Here are some other ideas:

Pamela
Ruth
Giselle
Meredith
Tamara
Esther
Abigail
Danica
Marina
Carlyn

Have you seen any you like so far?

What about Rebecca? Elaine? Christina? Jordana?

I’m surprised no one has suggested the ever-classic Elizabeth. It has lots of possibilities for nicknames, too, so Neil is bound to find one he likes!
