Star Wars Theme vs. Yes vs. No
Hey everyone, Since my hubby and I met at a Star Wars convention 5 years ago, we have had a beautiful little girl, Hannelise... who unintentionaly is nicknamed Han (Han Solo?!) And now we are expecting TWINS! One boy, one girl! We are considering carrying on the ’theme’ and calling them Luke and Leia, or is that too ’star-wars-nerd’y?
Thanks a lot,

That’s way awful. Make those middle names.
Or you could use Lucas and Leah... so that the theme is there, but isn’t slapping you in the face.
My husband wanted to name our children that. And I vetoed right away. I told him one or the other. He choose Luke so he can say "Luke, I am your father".
If I were you, I’d use one of the two.
They would be super cute as middle names, but might be teased in school.
What if you called them Padmé and Ben? ( Ben as in Obi wan kenobis code name, and Padme as in anakons wife
I’m really sorry, but I think that’s pretty bad. Hannelise is a beautiful name and much more subtle. I agree with a previous poster that you should pick one (I like Lucas nn Luke), and look for a different name for the other twin. How about:
Anya (Dark woman An’ya Kuro)
Mara (Mara Jade)
Jane or Jaina (Jaina Solo)
Sidonie (Darth Sidious)
Quinn (Qui-Gin Jinn)
Toby (Obi Wan Kenobi)
Sidney (Darth Sidious)
Benjamin/Bennet/Benedict (Ben Kenobi)
Like any? I just did so much Star Wars research for you, lol. I like Benedict and Sidonie the best, but the characters don’t really mean anything to me. I think they fit the best with Hannelise because they have the same european feel. What do you think?
Do Luke and Leia! Theyre farely common names anyway
Ben and Annie.....Obi wans alias and Annikans nickname.
If you insist on doing this make sure its super subtle.
We are thinking about naming them Benjamin nn Ben and Skylar nn Sky.. Thoughts?
I love the names Benjamin and Skylar!
just one or the other - not both
Luke and Annalise
Tristan Luke and Leia Charlene
