Our Favorites vs. Don’t Work

Hey! We love the names Matilda and Francesca but they do not flow with the middle name we have picked, Deborah. What names do you think flow with it? We do not want to reuse a letter from the names of our children; Henry, Liam, Oliver, and Dahlia. Thanks for your time!

Not sure why the "jeez" was called for considering we only said we are not changing Deborah meaning we are looking only for first names. We have agreed that we know Matilda and Francesca are no longer options for us and we put them in the poll to give an idea of what type of names we like

We were giving a response! Just because it was short and to the point does not automatically make it aggressive. We have only been given one suggestion anyway, which we can’t use, so sorry but it doesn’t seem like people are trying to help all that much. If other suggestions were given it would be completely different.

Deborah is a terrible middle name. You would need a very short first name.

We really don’t need the rudeness about liking or disliking Deborah. It is after my mother who is no longer with us. We like the name Ivy but we aren’t able to use it due to a friend who named their daughter Ivy

We weren’t being rude! Goodness! We were stating something simple that happened to be a short statement! Either give suggestions or move on from the poll, this is not helpful at all.

We like Felicity! Isabella, you suggested some nice names but you must have either skipped over or did not read that we do not want to reuse the letters of our children, so although we like Lucy we won’t be using it

Not exactly, people where we live have a bad habit of disregarding people when they say they want to be called something and just choose what they want to call the person. It really happens with nicknames when the first name is long, like Emmeline or Genevieve

We agree we want to avoid names ending in the same sound, please leave some suggestions!

Cassie it is equally rude to disregard something that had been specifically said that we do not want and will not use! Rudeness along with respect goes both ways.

What is wrong with people on this site? This is a place for people to get suggestions which is what we were trying to do! We do appreciate the ideas but we don’t appreciate the fact that people have Ben snarky from the start and have disregarded something that was very simply that we stated, from the start, that we didn’t want and wouldn’t use.

No. In your poll you didn’t say Deborah couldn’t be shortened or that Francesca was totally out, someone tried to make a suggestion to give you the name you love and you we’re rude. As of then you’ve been consistently rude to others. Nobody is disrespecting you, they are only trying to help. You are a rude and aggressive woman. It’s not only one person that has said it!
