Macy vs. Molly

We really love both Macy and Molly, but we feel like they are too similar for us to use on and save the other for a future daughter. So, which do you think is prettier and why? No idea on middle name yet. Working on first names first.

I liked Macy better because I think its more feminine and also Molly sounds more like a childs name than an adult name..Macy is one tshe could grow into. However, if you do like both names and want to use both you could always add a second middle name or a different ending to whichever isn\\\’t the first name (Macy Molly-rose / Molly Macy-lynn .. i wouldn\\\’t choose either of these but it gives you an idea you can look into)

Don’t care for Genevieve or Kaylin.

For middle names, we want something normal, easy to say and spell, and not regal in style (doesn’t sound like a princess name). Thanks.

I much prefer Molly and think it’s less trendy than Macy so won’t become as dated. I also think it will age better.

I’m not crazy about either. To be honest, Macy(’s) will always be a department store, and Molly will always be a dog’s name. I have met countless dogs in my lifetime named Molly.
