Maxwell Annabella-Grace vs. Maxwell Emma-Jane vs. Maxwell Emma Grace

Hi there, *warning unisex names* just thought i’d warn you that there are unisex names before you start going on to me about naming my OWN children. Welcoming number 5&6 to the ’Hughes Squad’. Two little sisters to; Liam(11), Noah(9), Aubree(6), Jasper(3). We have already decided on Twin A - Nahla Blair Delilah but are struggling on deciding the middle name of Twin B - Maxwell *gasp*. So please vote or give suggestions in the results box! Harlow and Alex.

Apart from Jessica Simpson’s daughter I’ve never heard of another girl named Maxwell. I wouldn’t class this as unisex it’s really unattractive on a girl. What about Rowan, Linden, Maxina, Jules?

Maxine is a lovely name! Or even Maxi!

Maxwell is not unisex. I would find a name that is actually classified as unisex.

What do you think of making Emma-Jane her first name? It sounds fancy!

I think you should just use Annabella Grace Maxwell.

I think Maxwell is super cute! And its your choice anyway, I don’t get why these people don’t get it! You just asked for a middle name not an opinion on the first name ^^^

Maxwell Grace
Maxwell Faye
Maxwell Holly

It sounds like your pretty set but I must admit, as someone who really likes unisex names, I think Maxwell is a boy’s name only. It did also make me wonder if you’re a Jessica Simpson fan. If you’re insistent then I like Emma-Jane as a middle name.

May I ask what genders your kids are?

How about Emillie Jane Maxwell? I changed the spelling of Emily as it seems that you like to mix things up and maybe this could be the compromise on it? I don’t know what others think x

I think Maxwell is a nice name but if you look at the other names of your kids which are very clear on the gender just like her twins name, it doesn’t fit with the rest

Thanks for all you comments - I do like Maxwell as a first name but Lola_Lu I do like your suggestion too but perhaps Emerson or something else like Emma you could suggest?

Liam, Noah, Jasper - boys
Aubree - girl

What about Emmalyn Maxwell or Gemma Maxwell? I think Gemma Maxwell has a very classy feel to it.

FYI Aubrey/Aubree was once a males name, so the only girls name that you have chosen is Nahla...will that not make her feel left out? I’m all for unisex and all but either go all out or just don’t!

I think Kendall and Maxwell if you are going to go all out unisex or Amalia and Nahla if you are going to stick to feminine names!
