Emme (or Emmy) Teresa Jean vs. Stella Teresa Jean vs. Eden Teresa Jean

Hey there! There was a three way tie on our last poll so we decided to try again! Which is your favorite? If you pick Emme (or Emmy), which of the two spellings do you prefer? We know a lot of people aren’t fans of two middle names but these have a lot of meaning to us so they need to stay. We have two boys named Miles & Leo! Thank you!

The Top Baby Name is...

Name Votes
Emme (or emmy) Teresa jean K 26% (6 votes)
Stella Teresa jean K 57% (13 votes)
Eden Teresa jean K 17% (4 votes)

I like Stella best. I would spell Emmy like this, as Emme I think can confuse people into calling her just Em.

Thanks Sara! We hadn’t thought about how Emme could be pronounced as Em, definitely something we’ll keep in mind!

It seems like someone is stuffing your poll. Personally I like Eden a lot, I think it flows nicely with Teresa Jean, I think it will fit all ages, and I like it with Miles and Leo. Good luck!

Cora is on our list, Olivia! We’re trying to get it down to our top 3! Cora & Josie are definitely coming to the hospital with us, we’re just trying to decide on one more name :)

Woo Hoo. LOL. Eden I think goes great with Miles and Leo. Decided on a middle?

We just couldn’t let Cora go, we’ve gotten over the alliteration thing! Lol! We’re going to use both Teresa and Jean since they are the names of our mothers and they’ve had such an impact on our lives. We would feel bad just picking one name because we don’t want it to seem that we’re picking one grandmother over the other!

Wait. Lol. I just Theresa Jean. Lol.

Beautiful! What about a variant of their names like Tessa Jane?

We’re not big fans of Tessa, sorry! It fits the short criteria we want, but there’s something about it that lacks that "spark" to it. Both Miles and Leo have their grandfathers’ names as their middle names so it’s kind of like a tradition, I guess, to use a grandparent name for a middle name

That’s special!!! I bet they are honored!!

Thank you, we hope they will feel honored! They actually do not know that we are using their names; we are keeping her name a secret until she’s born!

I would too!! I don’t have any kids but I wouldn’t want to hear negative opinions if there were to be any. I love the classic names!

We learned our lesson the hard way! When I was pregnant with Miles we told my family what we planned on naming him and my grandmother and a few other family members just went crazy saying how it was a bad name for "a child like ours" and a bunch of other crazy things. We obviously didn’t take their opinions into consideration, but we definitely learned our lesson to keep it to ourselves!

Miles is a great name! Now I can definitely understand if it were a name that no one could pronounce or if it were extremely tacky and had teasing potential. I like Miles and Milo!

Have you chosen a name from this list? I think Ada should be on the list ;)

Ada almost made the cut, but my husband didn’t love it as much as me! We are pretty sure the three we are bringing are Cora, Josie, & Eden! Thank you for all the votes and comments everyone! We know that Eden didn’t get the most votes, but seeing it have the least made us realize how much we love it. Cora, Josie, & Eden are the three names we can really see ourselves calling our daughter

Yeah!!! Maybe keep Ada as the 4th name! ;) or save it in case their may be a next one. Do you have a twitter I can follow you on?

There better not be a next one or hubby and I will have a serious chat ;) Perhaps we’ll get a pet that I can name Ada lol! I do not have a twitter, but I promise I will post when she’s born :)
