Love Alice vs. but I know an vs. Alicelynn

Hey everyone. My DH and I are expecting our first child and we have been struggling with a girls name. I love the name Alice, always have. But in our church there is another young family and they have a daughter Alicelynn who is about 3. They call her Alicelynn not just Alice. Would it be horrible if our baby is a girl to name her Alice?

I called my daughter Bonnie and I know a BonnieJo. I went to school with BonnieJo’s mother and church and my Bonnie was even a bridesmade at BonnieJos mothers wedding. If you like Alice name her Alice, after all the other girls name is Alicelynn

Alice is so sweet and I don’t think that would matter in the slightest! They aren’t even related, my cousins have the same first name, it isn’t a problem. There will always be people you know called the same name unless it is very unique. Go with Alice if you love it :) If it matters a lot to you or you are very close to them and think it may cause a problem how about:
Alicia, Alison, Alessia?
