Hate Jasper. Go with Jagger.
Save him some embarrassment
Yes, I like it!
Jasper is a lovely name.
Jasper is one of my favourite boys names. It is underused, classic and a great name. I can definitely see it working on a little boy and a teenager and through his adult years too.
Don’t name him Jagger- one of the ugliest names ever! Jasper is a great traditional boys name, and yes I see it working fine on a young boy.
I love the name Jasper and it works well with Allan too!
Meaning of Jasper: "bringer of treasure"
Origin of Jasper: Persian
Jasper has a lot going for it -- in the past years it shot up 112 places and is still rising, after long being considered a hip and charming name in England. Distinctly masculine, Jasper represents a variety of quartz--one of the few gem names for boys-- and is the first name of the great modern artist Jasper Johns. Our only caveat: Jasper is a favorite of a lot of hip parents, and will also be picked up through its strong appearance in the Twilight books and movies.
Jasper is the usual English form for one of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to the infant Christ according to medieval tradition, and appears in the Bible as a reference to the stone itself in Revelations 4:3.
Jasper has considerable literary cred as well, appearing in works by Sir Walter Scott, James Fenimore Cooper, Thackeray, and Thomas Hardy--as well as Stephenie Meyer.
Casper/Caspar is the German version.

I think Jasper is a lovely name.
Jasper Allan is perfect!!
I love the name Jasper, and I love Allan too. Buy my honest opinion is they are not the best combination because of the assonance. Jas and Al are to rhyme-y.
