Phoebe Conner vs. Phoebe Connor

What do y’all think about Connor/Conner for a girl? This is my last baby (having hysterectomy as soon as she’s born) and we really want to use Connor to honor a family member, but not sure if it sounds ok for a girl. Phoebe stays as first name. Thoughts?

I love Connor for a girl, you could also use the original spelling Conor.

Unless its for medical reasons don’t have a hysterectomy, as next time you may get that boy you clearly want and then use Connor. What about Another name that is either similar to Connor in style or meaning?

I think it’s totally okay! Especially as a middle name.

I already have a son that is named for another family member. The hysterectomy is for medical reasons. I went to schedule surgery and we discovered I was pregnant during the bloodwork! We are thrilled to have another baby but the hysterectomy is still necessary, unfortunately.

My son’s name is Connor, so for me it’s ALL boy. What if you used another name that starts with Co thats more girly? Such as Coralie, Colleen, Colette, Corinne. Or you could go with a girl name thats also Irish, such as Delaney. Just a few suggestions.

Connor is fine, especially since it’s after a family member.
