Noooo!

It sounds like a nickname, not a name AT ALL. I have an aunt named Melissa and we call her Aunt Minnie. That would be good to use as a nickname, but definitely not a name.
Good luck!

No for a full name. Yes for a nickname. Minnie’s cute for Any M name, I think. Also for Wilhelmina or Araminta. Minnie’s really cute, but I just don’t think it works well as a standalone.

I love Minnie as a nickname for Dominique

it sounds like a nickname and she will probably be teased about Minnie Mouse. You could probably name her anything and still call her Minnie.

It’s very nick-namey and all I can picture is Minnie Mouse, idk, just not real fond of it.

I agree. Cute as a nn but makes me think of Minnie Mouse. Not only that but "mini" - as in small, tiny, insignificant, less than. Do you want to associate that with your daughter?

Minnie Mouse?
Minnie Pearl?
Minnie-me?

No, no, NO!

Don’t do it no matter how much you like it. Think of your daughter. Use it as a nn
