Question: vs. Is it a bad idea vs. to combine names?
My husband and I both had sisters who passed on when we were children. We are finally having a girl after three boys, and we would like to honor our sisters in our daughter’s name. My sister was Daniella, and his sister was JoyAnna. We have considered making both names our daughter’s middle names, but then we came up with Joyella (no, we don’t want to use Joella/Joelle). What do you think? Is this a bad idea? We thought it would be a nice way to honor them. We also like that it is unique and meaningful. Please comment and help us out! - The Greys

Maybe spell it JoyElla or Joy-Ella? I think it sounds wonderful and a very nice way of honoring them, but not too fond of the spelling.

Sorry not a fan of Joyella, it looks a bit weird, maybe just use one as a first name and one as a middle namd. Daniella Joy is nice.

Joyella looks a bit teen mom. Joy-Ella would be better. I like the Daniana someone suggested, but if you like Joy(-)ella, go for it and don’t listen to a bunch of random anonymous online posters who don’t actually know you. GL :)

I like it but it looks a little strange spelled like that. Maybe Joy-Ella? No matter how you spell it I still think it’s a pretty name and you should use it

I think Joyella is beautiful and is even more so when you know that meaning behind it.
