Baby Name Poll

Here’s the deal. I’m pregnant with my first child (a boy) and I’ve loved the name Cade for a good while. So that’s the name we decided on for our son. The only problem we’ve had so far, which I find absolutely absurd, is that one of my best friends who’s supposed to be the godmother is completely against it. Her reason? Her name is Kaydence, which she goes by 99% of the time. It’s either Kaydence or Kay. She’s gone so far as to say things such as "Naming him Cade would be like slapping me in the face", "It’s like you want to make a cheap, less cool copy of me", and even "If you name him that, I refuse to be the godmother of that godforsaken imitation". I kid you not. I just wanted to hear some outside opinions and/or suggestions on this whole matter. Thanks
