Baby Name Poll Results
Amelia Gwynne vs. Alethea Elinor vs. Graham Nicholas Blythe
Ok so I just posted a poll an hour ago or so, but I have another question for you all. I’m having g-g-b triplets. Do you think it matters if the two girls names start with A and the boy’s doesn’t? Will he feel left out? To me it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but people keep mentioning it to me. Thanks again! ~Charlotte~

I think it’s cute to have the girl’s names start with the same letter and the boy to have his own letter. If you’re worried about it, you could always give your son a middle name that starts with A.

No. I think it’s completely fine. It would be just like having individual siblings and having 2 out of 3 share a letter. I have two brothers and 2/3 start with A while the last starts with V. Mind you, his middle starts with A but that doesn’t matter since he was named after family.
I think Amelia Gwynne is cute but it ends like your last name, if you don’t mind.
Alethea is nice and different. I kind of prefer Althea but it’s cute. Elinor is the same, I prefer Eleanor but it’s still very nice.
I’m not sure if you are having trouble picking a middle name for Graham or if he has two middle names. If it’s the first option, I prefer Nicholas.

Honestly, the only names of yours I like are Eleanor, Graham and Nicholas.
But, to answer your question, no, I don’t think he will feel left out. If you make a big deal out of it then he might, but otherwise, it’s not a big deal at all. My name and one of my brother’s names starts with an "A", but my other brother has a name that starts with a "D". It’ll be fine.

I also like Amelia Gwynne. But, I like Gwen better. Good luck!
How do you pronounce Althea? Al-the-a or All-the-a? I thought it looked a little more elegant with the -e.
I meant for it to read Graham Nicholas Blythe Carrigan. I know it’s a bit much. My husband and I couldn’t choose which middle name and since he is the only one of our children who we won’t have a nickname that we call him all the time, we decided that we’d give him two mn.
our other kids all go by their nicknames: elizabeth nn lila
charles nn charlie
emmaline nn emma
winthrop nn winn
... and now
amelia nn amy
alethea nn allie
and graham will be gray some of the time...
