Charlotte Olivia vs. Scarlett Olivia

I had my baby girl last night. Is planned to call her Scarlett but looking at her now…so peaceful and innocent-Scarlett almost seems to much and too harsh. So we came homesite Charlotte? What do you think? Does Scarlett sound too harsh or does it fit? Is Charlotte nice? As pretty as Scarlett? Olivia has to be the middle name by the way xxx Nicoletta

My daughter is due any day now and we are naming her Scarlett... Olivia is actually my second preference and is also an option for a middle name. I understand completely what your saying about you feeling Scarlett could be harsh for a tiny baby girl but she will grow into a little girl and a woman all too soon and it is such a gorgeous name. Charlotte is much more common and popular, although it is beautiful. My husband actually suggested Charlotte over Scarlett but I’ve been stuck on Scarlett for years now and i just can’t go past it! Goodluck and Congratulations on your daughters birth, whichever name you choose will be the right one!
