My name is Emily and I never liked it growing up because it was soooo common and I thought it was "uncool." There were so many Emily’s in my high school that I rarely turned if I heard my name in the hall. It has grown on me since; I now like it for its sweetness, but I would still go with Erin.

Just don’t name her Emily Elizabeth, she’s the girl from Clifford the Big Red Dog.

I really like the name Emily, but I like to spell Emily, like "Emilie". In my personal opinion I like the name "Emilie Rose"
