Lilly vs. Lucy
We already have a beautiful 19 month old daughter called Lara Faith, and are expecting another little girl. So, Lilly or Lucy for Lara’s little sister? Baby will grow up in England and our last name is McHugh. Thanks, Katie and Adam.

Lilly is becoming very common... Lucy is ok, but a bit too cute. How about Lucille nn. Lucy?

Lily is too common and Lucy sounds more classic.

Maybe this doesn’t bother you as much, but I don’t like the repeating vowel sound in Lucy McHugh. Lilly sounds much better.

I think Lara and Lucy flows nicer than Lara and Lilly. I also think Lucy McHugh flows very nicely. Lilly McHugh is a bit of a mouthful.
