Jonathan Jeremiah vs. Yes vs. No

My father’s name is John. And my first child who is no longer with us! His name was Jeremy. So in honor of them both we are naming our son Jonathan Jeremiah which is perfect considering the meaning of his name! He will be our 1st and only child due to my health and age! So he’s truly our gift!!! I know it’s seems a little tongue twisty... and most say it’s to much! But it not so bad.... Or is it? I would appreciate your honesty! Thanks ~Demetriss

I think it is too tongue twisty. That being said he won’t often go by both his first and middle name and you could always call him JJ. I will say that sometimes when you use a deceased child’s name for another child that it can be too burdensome for the new child, who might feel your trying to replace what you lost.

That’s funny, because my husbands name is Jeremiah Jonathan.
