Ultimately I like Catherine better, but if I were actually going to use it then I’d go with Katherine (or Kathryn) so I could use the nn Kate. Katherine Sophia, Katherine Michaela, Katherine Miranda, Katherine Willow, Katherine Phoebe, Katherine Gabrielle/a, Katherine Sage, Katherine Fiona, Katherine Hazel, Katherine Dianna, Katherine Virginia....Katherine Olivia (suggested by Satira) is also very pretty :o)

Good luck with whatever you choose! Catherine/Katherine is goregous!

I am also naming my daughter Katherine...I like both spellings but my husbands name starts with a K so we chose Katherine. I had a tough decision on middle/first names to go with this also. For something traditional I would do Mary Katherine, Emily Katherine, or Katherine Elizabeth, but if you were looking for something a little different, I LOVE Katherine Hayden (I’m pretty set on this one for myself) or Miller Katherine

Catherine is extremely beautiful. I, personally think Katherine/Kathryn is overused in today’s society. Catherine was the original spelling and I love it. For middle names I like Catherine Elisabeth, Catherine Shea or Catherine Taylor.

My husband and I are either set on naming a baby girl Sophia Katherine or Kathryn Love. Katherine and Love is a family name but I like the spelling of Kathryn better if it’s a first name. I think it gives it a more modern look. Good luck!

I love how the first comment mentions Katherine middle names are Catherine and Elizabeth. I like it with a C but probably because it’s part of my name and it sounds all regal and stuff.

My name is Catherine and my middle name is Anne. I’ve always liked the name and I prefer it with a "C". A lot of my friends call me Cat but another could be Catie or Cathy.

I know I am late to this post but, we named our daughter after both my Grandma’s, Katherine Genevieve. She has seen been nicknamed Katie aJean. My husband and I prefer just Kate but her Grandpa is throwing out the Grandpa card and calling her Katie Jean. Good Luck!

I’m Catherine Nicole! And my mom is Catherine Louise, which I love. My ideas for my daughter so far are Catherine Ruth or Catherine Colma, but I once considered Catherine Evelia (Spanish for "life".) I’m glad I don’t have to make any decisions for a few more years :)
