Have you ever read "The Rime of the Ancient Mariner"? Those names totally inspire thoughts of that poem.

Fave to least fave: Thurston, Skipper, Gilligan. Honestly, I give you a thumbs up. These are unique and original but not over-the-top. Power to you, my friend.

Absolutely ridiculous! Sorry, but if you actually saw or heard these names in a professional environment, wouldn’t you think they’re some dumb prank nickname? It makes me think back to my first job, a man everyone called Wilson, assistant to the boss, because the boss always talked his head off and he was bald...

Thurston could work I suppose although it sounds somewhat pretentious. The other two-no way!

I didn’t say I would actually use them if I did it would be middle names. Or what could Skipper be a nickname for?

Poster 6- what the hell?!
Poll Poster- I feel like Skipper could be one of those nicknames that have absolutely nothing to do with the kid’s real name. I know a kid named Shane Padraig...who goes by Reid.

Yeah, I am thinking Skipper as a nn too. I was wondering about Thurston because it reminded me of names like Foster and Fletcher.

I kinda like Thurston! It’s cute. Gilligan could work; and you could get the nn Gill without even having to use Gilbert! Skipper is nickname-y. Not like how Tom is for Thomas or anything, but like how a Henry could be Bubba or a Franklin could be a Stretch. His name could be literally anything, but he could still be called Skipper!
