Theme for a baby vs. please
My mother had 11 children and had a theme, eg- Alana, Beatrice, Cole, Daniel, Ellie, Fiona, Georgina, Hallie, Ian, Jack and Katrina. I want some kind of theme with my kids, but don’t know what. We have our first baby due in April, but still don’t have a theme. Nothing too tacky.
Thanks

Pick something that isn’t too restrictive. For example, names that start with a vowel. Names that contain the letter C/L/M, etc. But don’t do something like virtue or nature names with which you’ll run out of good names after 3 kids and then have to choose bizarre ones.

I don’t think that would work, there are only so many colors that don’t sound weird,

Same initials. My best guy friend has about 12 siblings (with 4 being step-siblings) and they all have the initials TSG except the stepsiblings.

You should pick a name for your first child and then find the theme.
Ideas;
Double letters (Tanner, Brennan,Connor, Lilla, Hannah)
One letter for boys and one letter for girls (Jacob, Jack, Leah, Lydia)
Names with nicknames (Benjamin-Ben, Theodore-Theo, Allison-Ally, Penelope- Nellie)
Nature (River, Brook, Hudson)
City or Country (Bronx,Rio, Nevada, Paris)

You could pick names by their origin...like you could choose only names of French origin for your kids, or English, German, Spanish, Dutch, etc. That way, you could have a cohesive theme, but the names wouldn’t be too matchy-matchy, if that makes sense.

Sorry I find all themes to a certain degree tacky. Just pick names you love

Names that end in the sound -en, i.e. Aiden, Erin, Jonathan. Kristin. It’s a subtle theme and the names can all be spelled with different endings.
