Dale Stephen? vs. Help!!!!

I desperately need a name for my soon-to-be-born son. My husband wants to name him Dale Stephen unless I come up with a better alternative. What do you think of this name? Any suggestions? By the way our last name is Brown. Thanks!

Personally I think Dale Brown is a little bland. How about Carter Stephen Brown? It gives hubby the Stephen part he wanted and makes a common last name more interesting.

I have never liked the name Dale. Stephen is a good classic name though. What about Stephen Dale Brown??

Dale Stephen Brown is perfect don’t change it one bit. It is underused and will age well good luck to you.

Dale Brown is too blunt, harsh, short...I think the first name should have at least 2 syllables

Dale is not bad, but it is not my favorite name and it’s being used more commonly for girls. In my opinion, your baby’s name should be something you both love. If you don’t like Dale then keep working on your husband. Good luck!
