Violette is a french form of Violet and pronounced vi-oh-LET
Violet is pronounced either Vi-let or vi-oh-LET depending on who is pronouncing it and where they are from. Hopefully that helps with that...
I prefer Violet to Violette...I just think it looks prettier.
