Annabeth (Annie) vs. and vs. Elizabeth (Libby)
We are expecting twin girls and we have a weird question. Is it okay for children to share some part of their name? We have a daughter named Bethany who goes by Beth but the only names we like for our twins are Annabeth (Annie) and Elizabeth (Libby). Is that a problem because we think it is a nice connection amongst them. We also need middle name suggestions. Thanks!
The Top Baby Name is...

Okay, maybe we will try to find a different -Beth name, I never realized it sounded so similar. Thanks.

I would stick with Annabeth & Elizabeth, I feel like if they’re are going to go by nicknames it wouldn’t matter. I don’t think Bethany and Annabeth are that close in spelling or pronunciation. Annie, Libby and Beth are adorable nicknames for sisters. GL!

Lilibeth and Sarabeth are lovely! But Lilibeth might be too close to Elizabeth, sorry.

Yes, we rarely call Beth her full name of Bethany and we are planning to do the same with the twins. Thank you!!

Thank you but we do not like Loribeth or Maribeth, and we can’t use Bethany as a nickname because that is our daughter’s name.

Even if you don't like the names. Thanks!

If it was just the ’beth’, like Elizabeth, it’d be easier, but I honestly think Annabeth, though gorgeous, doesn’t work.
Annabelle? Shares ’Ann’ with Bethany and ’El’ with Elizabeth.
Or you could search other -beth names.
