Mary is alright, but, definitely not the best name I’ve ever heard. I’d modernize it and make it Maria.

I like the name Mary too, but we have a super common last name and I think it sounds a bit plain with our last name. I think if you use it, it will be pretty uncommon in her age group, yet very easy to recognize and spell! I sort of like matching it with a longer middle name.

I would think that it is a classic name. And most people associate the name with the mother of Jesus. That might make it Biblically charged to you, it makes it awesome to me.

I think Mary is a very sweet and classic name. Most people probably will associate it with the Bible but I think its a gorgeous name on its own.

I really do think that Mary has too much religious connotation, many of the Christians I know who have daughters have given them the middle name Mary. However, there’s nothing wrong with the name, I personally don’t like it, but it’s suitable and will age well, which I think is the most important thing.
