need vs. a vs. new name

My husband and I were set on the name Hailey even though it was popular it was the only one we could agree sister had her daughter on the 9th of this month and named her daughter Kaylee so naturally if I use Hailey it’ll seem like I copied her...which didn’t now we are again in search of another name thats nowhere close to Kaylee. These are the names that are out because they’re taken by family members: Lilly, Brianna, Katelyn, Lauren, Felicity, Kaylee, Jenna, Carsen (yes for a girl), Sophie, Jessica, Megan, and Carlie. They are all names that are in my immediate family (neices). We could use any help you can give! Thanks, Marcia & Jack

Emma in Western Australia
We have a boy named Tyler James and a girl named Gypsie Jade. Expecting our 3rd, which is a boy. I'm in love with the name Olly, but my partner thinks Gypsie and Olly are unique names and Tyler is not, so it won't feel right. So he wants an ordinary name. Please help with something unique but ordinary.
Baby Name Genie:
In the space between unique and ordinary is a special category of names I think of as "antiques." They are familiar and well-used names that are not widely in use these days. For your son, I give you Oscar Jude - a perfectly ordinary, unique name.
