Thomas Jefferson nn TJ vs. Yes? vs. No?
Just found out yesterday that my first child is going to be a son! My wife agreed that I could name the baby if it was a boy (she got to name our daughter) and I like the whimsy of Thomas Jefferson Blake with the nickname of TJ. Thoughts? This baby boy will be joining big sister Abigail Leigh.

Our last name is Blake. So our son would go by T.J. Blake.

I like the sound of T.J. Blake, but naming him after Thomas Jefferson is still a bit weird to me. I guess there are worst people to be named after thought. I would like something else that gave the T.J. initials better, but that’s just my opinion. GL!

I agree with staying away from using Thomas Jefferson. Maybe you could use one of them while still keeping TJ as the initials. Something like Timothy/Theodore/Tyler Jefferson of Thomas Jeremiah/Joseph/Jensen.
